Green Bay Packers!!!

I have been painting glasses for almost 3 years now and it all started with a trip to the mall. My husband and I were window shopping when we came to the Hallmark store; there I saw a painted glass and I turned to Jesse and said, "I could so do that, and for way less money." From that point on I started my home business, A Glass of Art & More.

I started painting images for my family and friends and giving them as Christmas gifts. As I painted, I posted pictures of them to facebook and my business exploded. I had people from all over Wisconsin asking me if I could paint different images on different glasses for them. Some asked for donations, which I gladly gave, others set my prices.

I knew I couldn't paint team logos because of copy right laws, but everyone loves the Packers! How was I going to paint things people like the most without getting sued? That's when it hit me! I can paint the players. Aaron Rodger's above... more players below...

It didn't stop there. I created a business facebook page and have people from all over the USA and even someone from Russia LIKE my page and place orders. I custom paint and/or etch glasses with all kinds of images for all types of people for any occasion.

I paint other teams, other players, musicians, flowers, animals... and much much more! Keep scrolling for some holiday images. ;)

Some Glasses I've painted...for the holidays.

I was at a craft show last Saturday and I was asked if I had another way to view my glasses... I said I have some on Pinterest but I had to blog them first... duh, didn't mention my blog. So tonight I'm going to upload a bunch of images so that I can pin them. If you have an image you would like me to paint on a glass, let me know. If you want tips on how to paint glasses of your own, I'd be happy to help!

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

OMG these are the yummiest pancakes ever! Easy too, so here it is. So here it is...

Cinnamon Mix:
1/2 stick melted butter
1/4 + 2 Tbs packed light brown sugar
1/2 Tbs ground cinnamon
Mix together and place in a plastic bag for piping. (I used an empty water bottle and cut a hole in the cap)

Make your pancake mix like normal.

Put your mix on the pan/skillet and add the cinnamon mix right on top in a swirl pattern to mimic the cinnamon roll look.

You know when they are ready to flip when the sides are no longer doughy and the bubbles all pop on the top.

30-60 seconds on the other side then remove.

I flipped them first side up onto the plate and topped them with melted cream cheese frosting.

I used frosting from the container because I had it on hand but you can always make your own. Cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk... sorry I just mix the way my mom taught me... I don't measure.

Thanks to another pinterest idea my kids loved this for a quick dinner! I will probably be making these on Christmas morning!!

2 thumbs way up!!
